Biography

Bao Shiwei, Beijing Hospital, Department of Plastic Surgery, Associate Chief Physician. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various plastic surgery conditions, aesthetic surgery, and laser treatment. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in 1997 and graduated from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College in 2008, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree in plastic surgery. He serves as a Committee Member of the Minimally Invasive and Skin Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and a Committee Member of the Scar Study Group of the Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association. He has been engaged in plastic, laser, and aesthetic surgery for more than ten years and has participated in multiple research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Fund. He has published more than 20 articles in domestic and international journals, including Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery, Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology, and Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery. In 2009, he became an independent reviewer for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
